Thank You

Today is the last Sunday of 2009 and we are celebrating the Feast of the Holy Family. I look back at 2009 and I see myself loved and cared for by my family ( even the extended) and by my second family at work. I am blessed as well to have found friends who have treated me like a sister.

I believe that 2009 was a really beautiful year and God has sent me so many angels to see me through and to journey this world with.

On to 2010!

Thank You

I had panic attacks when I realized that 2009 is almost over. I felt ambushed by the thought that I have to close everything I set my mind to for the year. Despair, frustrations and disappointments were my emotions at the start of December--- I think I failed myself this year. But now, I look back and realized... I did pretty well. So, this is a list of the things I am most thankful for this 2009:

1. Hope that 2009 was my lucky year. I believed in luck and so I started my year right.

2. My savings from 2008 as I was able to set myself financially free.

3. J. and L. for being such kindred spirits and for opening their lives and home to us. They taught and shown me love.

4. M., my travel companion. I have seen beautiful places with you. We have shared good laughs, food and dozen of beer!

5. I discovered that I was born to yeao!

6. Vietnam and Cambodia ( all the people we met and shared the experience with us)

7. J. for telling me the story of "yellow cab", for making sure our room is clean and for staying up with me till 2am

8. R. for being such a fun companion. I wish I will be just like you when I turn 70.

9. J. for turning things around when the mood gets bleak. I think you wanted to make sure I was okay. ( later, i realized it was not the case)

10. K. for being so dependable

11. All those who accommodated by shortcomings and remain supportive and confident of my skills.

12. Bicol. It was an awesome experience. Mayon was so beautiful.

13. Laughter. "Butanding"

14. Courage to go under the sea. AJ, for always being there to look after me.

15. K. for encouraging me and going with me to swimming lessons

16. D. for being a risk taker. MG for spoiling me.

17. I have seen so much beauty in Bohol and Coron. I've tasted good food. I have lived the good life. I had so much fun in CWC. I lived like a princess.

18. M and J for being like a dad to me. I will never forget that you stood up for me, when i doubt that i can deliver.

19. for the free day that M gave me

20. the bond i share with my family
